Time to get in the Halloween Spirit, and you can do just that this weekend in Pleasant Valley.  The Pleasant Valley Pumpkin Walk will be this Friday and Saturday from 5:30 - 8pm at the Historical Mill Site on Main Street.  Gather up the whole family for this fun and beautiful event.

What is the pumpkin walk, you may ask.  It's where you can see carved pumpkins light up the night all through the Mill Site.  Have you carved a pumpkin that you're proud of?  Pretty good with a carving knife?  Anyone can add a carved pumpkin for this event.  Representatives will be at the park on October 22nd, 5:30pm – 7pm to receive all carved pumpkins for display. Lights will be provided to light up the pumpkins.

There will be a donation bucket on site to raise donations for the Pleasant Valley Historical Society and the Dutchess County Home Bureau Scholarship Fund to help a local resident go to college.  It's a great lead in to Halloween.
