Whether the Hudson Valley will see an early spring or not depends on which hairy little creature you want to believe.

Tuesday was Groundhog Day, and all of the world's attention was focused on Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania as the legendary groundhog came out of his slumber to make his yearly weather prediction.

Just after 7am Punxsutawney Phil declared that he did, indeed, see his shadow. Legend has it that this means there will be six more weeks of winter.

In Poughkeepsie, however, it was a different story. Instead of a groundhog the Boris & Robyn Show sends out Meat Sandwich each year as the "Ground Meat." The WPDH morning show's fearless producer has been pretty accurate in his predictions, including the year he was buried up to his waist in a freak snow storm.

Here's how the 2017 prediction went down this morning:

So who do you think is right? Will the groundhog's prediction of 6 more weeks of winter ring true, or do you think the "ground meat" is right and we will see an early spring?
