A burglary in the City of Poughkeepsie has been caught on video and police are looking for help identifying the suspect.

The footage, posted Sunday to Facebook, shows a man entering an apartment near Kaal Rock Park via front window. He reportedly removed the air conditioning unit and made his way into the apartment. The incident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on November 21st and no suspects have been identified yet, despite the video evidence.

The suspect stole a laptop, liquor and some clothes from the apartment. Thankfully no one was home at the time of the robbery. Anyone with information should contact City of Pougheeksie Police immediately at (845) 451-4000.

The price of home security camera systems continue to drop. While still costing several hundred dollars, many allow you to access the cameras via smartphone or tablet so you can check up on your place whenever you like. In this case, there would be no proof had it not been for the security camera inside the residence.
