What was once a sushi restaurant in New Paltz now houses a second location for the popular lunch destination, Lola's Cafe. The Poughkeepsie Journal reports the new restaurant at 49 Main Street just had their soft opening last week and will feature many of the same items as the original cafe.

Lola's will have more space to work with too as they'll have room for 80 customers at a time, including patio seating outside. The New Paltz location will have expanded hours as well, staying open until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday nights.

To start, the menu will be the same as Poughkeepsie but as the staff gets more comfortable they will be offering up weekly specials. One main difference that is not available at the original spot, is milkshakes! That could be just enough motivation to head over and try out your options.

Lola's catering business is well known in the area as well, supplying food to many weddings and special events.
