Starting June 30, visitors to Walt Disney World will be banned from bringing a popular item into the park. It's being added to a long list of things that are already forbidden at Disney.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Disney World will officially ban "selfie sticks" from all of their theme parks this week. For the past few months, sticks with camera phones mounted on top of them have been banned from certain rides and areas of the park, but that has not been enough to keep visitors safe.

Recently, a ride at Disneyland in California was shut down for over an hour after a visitor whipped out their selfie stick while it was in motion.  These devices have proven to be too hard to police, so Disney says they need to keep them out of the parks completely.
