Apparently, the force is not strong with Amy Schumer as the people behind Star Wars tweet their disapproval of her sexy photo shoot with the movie's characters and props.

Amy Schumer is about the hottest thing in comedy right now. Her Comedy Central show is not only getting huge ratings, but also receiving critical acclaim. Schumer's first major motion picture, "Trainwreck" opened strong this weekend, pulling in over $30 Million in just a few short days.

It seems that most people believe that Amy Schumer can do no wrong... That is, unless you're Disney.

The new issue of GQ magazine features a photoshoot with Amy Schumer interacting with classic characters from the Star Wars movies. Of course, in typical Schumer fashion, things get a little freaky. The magazine cover shows Amy dressed in the famous Princess Leia gold bikini sucking the finger of a shocked C-3PO.

If that's not enough, there are also photos of Amy apparently giving fellatio to a lightsaber, getting cozy with a Wookie and posing topless in bed with a couple of droids:

Some Star Wars fans are calling foul, saying that the photos creep them out. Critics say that Shumer's attempt to sexualize the family-friendly franchise is way out of bounds, even for a comedian that prides her self on pushing boundaries. The official Star Wars twitter feed chimed in on the controversy, and declared its disapproval of the photos:

As a fan of Star Wars and Amy Schumer I have to say that I'm torn on this one. I love Schumer's comedy, but am scratching my head wondering what her intention was with this photoshoot. For someone who's comedy has become an empowering voice for a new generation of women this seems like a cheap stunt to get horny guys to watch her movie. Also, as a father of a four-year-old who loves everything Star Wars, it just totally creeps me out!

I love Amy Schumer and her comedy, so I'm willing to give her a pass on this one... but I'm curious what you guys think. Did Amy go too far with this sexy Star Wars photoshoot? Or do you think the comedic photos are out of this world?
