A woman is accused of stabbing a victim multiple times in Orange County. The female victim was stabbed in her stomach, shoulder, and arm.

Port Jervis Police responded to a home on Ball Street after receiving a complaint that someone was stabbed inside the residence. Officers say they found a female with stab wounds all over her body, inflicted by a large kitchen style knife.

The victim was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center for emergency medical treatment. Police are not releasing the identity of the victim at this time.

Annabelle Nay, 36, allegedly stabbed the victim and fled the scene. She was located by authorities on Front Street and taken into custody.

Nay was charged with 1st-degree assault, two counts of 2nd-degree assault, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies.

Nay was arraigned in Port Jervis City Court and remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bound.
