An Ulster County woman was arrested after operating a vehicle with a BAC of over three times the legal limit, according to police. 

Well, there's drunk and then there's over three times the legal limit drunk...

Friday evening, Saugerties police received civilian complaint of an erratic driver operating a vehicle on Route 22 in the Town of Saugerties. Police located the vehicle in question and observed the driver make several vehicle and traffic violations.

Police initiated a traffic stop, and identified the driver of the vehicle as Joanne Beaudette, 54, of Saugerties. An initial investigation revealed that Beaudette was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Beaudette was arrested and processed at police headquarters. Beaudette has been charged with Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol in addition to Aggravated Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol, having a Blood Alcohol Content of .25%.

Beaudette was released to a sober third party and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
