Police in Ulster County pulled over a man who allegedly possessed laboratory equipment used to make methamphetamine, drugs, and fireworks.

New York State Police in Kingston responded to a domestic dispute in the Town of Rochester on Sunday evening. An alleged involved party, Erik F. Fehring, 28, of Kerhonkson was stopped on Samsonville Road after leaving the scene of the dispute.

Police say Fehring was found to be in possession of laboratory equipment and precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, Suboxone, a digital scale, and a bag of assorted fireworks.

Fehring was charged with 3rd-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 2nd-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of fireworks.

Fehring was arraigned in the Town of Rochester Court and remanded to the Ulster county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Assisting at the scene of the traffic stop was the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team who responded to render the laboratory equipment and precursor’s safe.
