Police: Teen Puts Mom in Headlock, Both Get Arrested

There's always something weird going on in this Ulster County town. 

On January 7, 2018 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Saugerties Police responded to a domestic dispute at a residence in the town.

An investigation by officers determined that a 17-year old placed the victim, 45 year-old
Danielle M. Every into a headlock, obstructing the victim's breathing. The teen had to be forcibly removed by two bystanders.

The teen was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. He was arraigned and released on his own recogniznce. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim by the court.

In addition to the teen's arrest,  45 year-old Danielle M. Every was also arrested for Harassment, for physically attacking the teen's girlfriend.

Every was arraigned and released on her own recognizance. The court issued an Order of Protection on behalf on the other victim.
