Police Say NY State Man Stole Over $200 Dollars Worth of Energy Drinks

Guess this guy just wanted to get his wings.

NY State Police arrested a Troy man they say tried to steal more than $200 dollars worth of energy drinks from a Walmart in Brunswick, NY.

CBS Albany reports that 35 year-old Joshua Johnson was arrested and charged with petit larceny on Saturday. Police say that Walmart employees confronted Johnson as he was trying to leave the store with a shopping cart full of Red Bull energy drinks. Johnson allegedly abandoned the drinks and ran to a car that quickly sped away. NY State Troopers say they identified the suspect and located him at his home, where he was arrested.

He was released with an appearance ticket.
