Police say the footage shows Gaudio making three separate trips to his car to steal over two dozen boxes of the candy valued at $1680.

The candy was supposed to be used to raise money for a field trip for the school's band and chorus students. We do not know if the trip is still on or if it has been cancelled. What we do know is that only a portion of the stolen candy was returned to the school after police say they recovered it from Gaudio during his arrest.

Gaudio was charged with Grand Larceny and Criminal Trespassing. He was sent to the Orange County Jail on $3,000 bail and has also been banned from the Wallkill School District.
