The Ulster Police Department have charged three people in connection with three different shoplifting complaints at an Ulster County Walmart Superstore.

Sean C. Grant, 35, of Poughkeepsie was charged with felony grand larceny. According to Walmart Asset Protection, Grant selected assorted merchandise off of the sales shelves, placed the merchandise in a shopping cart and then left the store without paying. The value of the merchandise was determined to be $1,098.55.

Lauren A. Lazarchik, 29, of Rhinebeck was arrested for petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police allege she left the Walmart with paying for $108.53 worth of merchandise.

Wayne D. Lee, 24, of New York City was charged with a misdemeanor of petit larceny. According to Walmart Asset Protection, Lee removed $62.44 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it.

Lazarchik and Lee were issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Ulster Justice Court at a later date. Grant was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu $500 cash bail and will reappear in the Town of Ulster Justice Court at a later date.

The Walmart Superstore is located at 601 Frank E. Sottile Boulevard at the Hudson Valley Plaza.
