The Poughkeepsie Journal is reporting that the Dutchess County Sheriff's office have charged two individuals in the string of vehicle break-ins around the town of Lagrange, 28-year-old Anthony Ramos of Pawling and 26-year-old William Tyson also of Pawling. Ramos is also a police officer with the City of Danbury Police Department in Connecticut, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.

According to The Poughkeepsie Journal, both men are accused of entering unlocked vehicles and stealing property at numerous homes in the Town of LaGrange, and face felony charges of fourth-degree grand larceny. They were released on tickets requiring court appearance.

The Poughkeepsie Journal further stats that the Danbury police confirmed that Ramos was an officer since 2012. He has been relieved of duty and placed on paid administrative leave 'due to the seriousness of the charges and to protect the integrity of the Danbury Police Department.

The Sheriff's Department also would like to make sure that there weren't more individuals involved.
