Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate suspect(s) involved with identity theft at a local bank and Rite Aid.

New York State Police from Brewster are actively investigating an identity theft that occurred in April at a Chase Bank and Rite Aid in the Town of Southeast.

Police say the unidentified suspect(s) used fake identification to obtain a new debit card. The suspect(s) then allegedly made over $9,000 in fraudulent purchases using the debit card obtained with a fake ID.
