Police: Man Allegedly Did Drugs With Three Juvenile Females

A Poughkeepsie man traveling with three juvenile females ages 11,13, and 14 was arrested following a traffic stop. 

On January 3, 2018, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Dutchess County Sheriff's stopped a vehicle traveling on Parker Ave for running a red light.

The operator of the vehicle, Tajai L. White, 20 of the City of Poughkeepsie, was traveling with three juvenile females, ages 11, 13, 14.

Further investigation resulted in the arrest of White at the scene. He is accused of possessing marijuana and smoking it with the juveniles.

The juveniles are not being identified, and they are known to White, but not related.

White was charged with three counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child first-degree, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Passing a Red Light.

White was processed and released with appearance tickets. He is due back in court later this month.
