A Hudson Valley man was arrested after police claim he used a backhoe to seek revenge on his neighbor.

CBS 6 in Albany reports that William Dalton from High Falls was visited by authorities after he allegedly used the heavy machinery to hit his neighbor's house and dig a hole in their backyard, causing damage to their septic system.

Police say that Dalton caused the damage over a long standing feud with his neighbor. Police charged the man with criminal mischief and placed him in custody at the Ulster County jail. Dalton remains at the jail without bail and is due in court on  Monday.

This isn't the first time a local man has used heavy machinery to seek revenge. In January a Middletown man used a bulldozer to demolish his home and all of his wife's belongings and just last month a man drove a truck through his mother's home after claiming she had stolen money from him.
