Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a local bank Monday evening. 

On Monday, at approximately 6:47 p.m., the City of Beacon Police recieved a holdup alarm from the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union on Main Street in Beacon.

Upon arrival at the bank, employees confirmed that a robbery had taken place. Employees stated that a white or hispanic male walked up to the teller, handing her a note demanding money.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery, and nobody in the bank was injured.

The man is described as 6'- 6' 2" wearing a black hat with a Chicago Bulls logo, black winter coat, dark jeans and sneakers.

The male exited out the front door of the credit union, and fled westbound on Main Street.
