An Ulster County man, who was allegedly intoxicated crashed in a wall after failing to negotiate a turn.  

Just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday, Saugerties Police responded to the area of 25 South Partition Street for a reported motor vehicle crash.

Investigation by police established that, Austin Andrew, 24, of Kingston, failed to negotiate a turn when he ran off the road and struck a wall belonging to the Diamond Mills.

Andrew was intoxicated and taken into custody. His BAC was determined to be more than twice the legal limit.

Andrew was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Failure to Stay Right.

Andrew was released to a third party, and issued appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
