Police: Human Skeletal Remains Found in Hudson River
City of Poughkeepsie Police say that human skeletal remains of a male were discovered by a boater traveling along the shore of the Hudson River. The Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office says that the remains were discovered on July 19. Police said in a news release on Tuesday that there doesn't appear to be any "traumatic cause of death".
City of Poughkeepsie Detective Sgt. John Zeltmann said the skeletal remains are of a male, and that the police department is working with other agencies and missing persons data to identify who the missing person is.
