This is some serious dedication to drunk driving. A Hudson Valley man was charged by police twice within a four hour span for DWI.

According to the Daily Freeman, 41-year-old Eric Rausch was driving on Greene and Pearl Streets in the Town of Ulster just after 1am on. Saturday morning. Police stopped the man and charged him with a DWI. Since this was his first offense he was released and instructed to appear at Kingston City Court on a future date.

Just before 4:30am, less than four hours later Rausch was stopped again by police. This time he was just two blocks away from his previous DWI arrest on St. James Street in the Town of Ulster.

Bausch was charged with drunken driving and driving again and was was released again with yet another ticket to appear in Kingston City Court. From what we know, he decided to stay home after that.
