A Dutchess County man was allegedly found in Poughkeepsie with a loaded stolen handgun, ecstasy and more.

On Friday just before 9:00 p.m., State Police pulled over a car on Mill Street in the City of Poughkeepsie for an undisclosed reason. The driver, 23-year-old Kayf C. Devaughn of Poughkeepsie, was found with a suspended license, police say.

As police investigated further, they allege that Devaughn was in possession of a loaded stolen handgun, ecstasy and marijuana. The glock pistol had been reported stolen in 2013 to the Glendale Police Department in Arizona, officials say.

Devaughn was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property, all felonies, aggravated unlicensed operation in the, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Devaughn was arraigned at the Town of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
