Police: Dutchess County Woman Threatened Young Teen

A Dutchess County woman is accused of threatening to harm a young teenager.

On Sunday, New York State Police at Dover Plains arrested 29-year-old Desirae Spock of Dover for endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree menacing, both class A misdemeanors.

The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Amenia on Sept. 24, police say.

Spock is accused of threatening harm to a child under the age of 16. Authorities did not release any more details into the alleged incident.

Spock was arraigned in Town of Dover Court. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear before Town of Amenia court on Sept. 27.
