Impersonating a police officer can get you in big trouble. Impersonating a police officer while setting up a fake DWI checkpoint? Well...

This is what one Pennsylvania man did, according to police. Police say that 19 year-old Logan Shaulis of Somerset, PA set up a drunken-driving checkpoint across Route 601 early Saturday morning. WISH TV reports that Shaulis parked his vehicle across the road and actually went so far as to set up road flares while attempting to stop oncoming traffic.

Troopers say that a motorist who stopped says Shaulis claimed he was a Pennsylvania state trooper while demanding to see driver license, registration and insurance papers.Police say that when the actual Pennsylvania state troopers arrived Shaulis attempted to hand a BB pistol to the motorist's passenger. Shaulis now faces charges including drunken driving, impersonating a public servant and unlawful restraint. He remained jailed Tuesday.
