Police are Looking for N.Y. State Man who Allegedly Hit Woman and her Horse with Vehicle

Police are looking for man who allegedly hit a woman riding a horse on Tuesday.

The incident happened in Schodack. New York Tuesday evening after an agitated driver hit 26 year-old Kait Kennedy who was riding her horse named Cali.

WTEN reports that Kennedy and the horse were traveling along the westbound shoulder when the man, driving a light colored silver or gray mini-van, pulled up and began blasting his horn while yelling obscenities at them.

This scared the animal who was then struck by the car.

The horse is being treated for injuries to its hind quarter and foot. The female suffered a bruised and swollen collar bone.

The man fled the scene wand was described a large build, middle aged, white male, with medium length dirty blonde hair and beard, and a baseball cap.
