A 26-year-old man was stabbed and robbed just after midnight in Orange County.

On Tuesday, Port Jervis police detectives arrested two men after an investigation into an armed robbery from early Tuesday.

Police were told that just after midnight, a 26-year-old man was stabbed and had items stolen from him by two men.

A subsequent investigation by detectives led to the arrest of 23-year-old Christian Turner of Matamoras, P.A. and Nicholas James, 19, of Westbrookville.

According to police, Turner used a weapon to stab the victim in the head and neck. Both fled the scene after stealing undisclosed property from the victim who suffered minor puncture wounds.

Both were charged with two counts of robbery and assault, felonies. Turner was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Both were remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond pending action of the Orange County Grand Jury.
