Police: 12-Year Old Girl Tried to Poison Mother With Bleach, Twice

Colorado - A 12-year old girl has been taken into custody, after she tried to poison her mother with bleach, twice.

Why would a 12-year old girl try to poison her mother? Well, the girl's mother took her daughter's smartphone away, and that's what made the girl want to kill her mother.

The girl made to two attempts to poison her mother. The first attempt, the girl mixed bleach with her mother's breakfast smoothie. Her mother notice the smell of bleach and initially thought that her daughter had cleaned the glass prior to giving it to her, and did not rinse it it properly.

Later that same week, the girl poured bleach into her mother's water carafe and once again, her mother notice the smell of bleach in her drink. This time, the mother confronted her daughter, and her daughter was honest with her. She told her she was trying to kill her because she had taken her iPhone away.

Even though the mother drank a bleach smoothie, she is fine, and has not been admitted to the hospital.

The 12-year old is being held at a juvenile center, and is facing two charges of first-degree murder, as reported by Yahoo.
