Plunging Temperatures Bringing Black Ice This Morning

Some schools are showing a 2-hour delay, but as most schools reopen today there remains a danger of black ice on Hudson Valley roads as temperatures plummet into the teens this morning.

The Weather Channel is forecasting a high of only around 17 today. This morning, temperatures fall from the 20's into the low teens by 8am with a windchill of -2.  Melted slush and ice on the roads from yesterday can quickly freeze, creating driving hazards.
