I've been trying to avoid this story all day long. And I just can't anymore.

Play-Doh has an adorable new set out, that sold quite well for the holidays. It's called the "Play Doh Sweet Shoppe Cake Mountain Playset". Let's be honest: that sounds awesome. Almost as good as the Play Doh Barbershop set.

HOWEVER. Apparently there was a slight design.....quirk that no one caught, and has started to upset parents. So much so that they went to Play-Doh's social media accounts and complaining. The amount of complaints is large enough that Play-Doh's media managers went into overdrive deleting comments.

Or maybe it was due to the fact that the new cake topper tool included in the Sweet Shoppe Cake Mountain Playset looked like a penis. Seriously. A penis.

And people were posting pictures to Play-Doh's social media accounts of said cake topper tool.....and it looked like there were penises all over Play-Doh's accounts.

Listen. I'm sure it's an honest mistake but HOW CAN YOU MISS THIS?!?!?!?!?! It literally boggles the mind that people had meetings about these toys. They all sat around a boardroom, looked at each other, AND NO ONE SAW HOW THIS COULD BE BAD!!!!!! They were probably high fiving each other because they thought they were going to make tons of money.

Thankfully, Play Doh is offering to exchange everyone's Cake Topper Tool (aka Plastic Penis) for a similar toy that looks less like a giant dong.

After all this, I just hope that there is now a new department over at good ole Play Doh whose sole purpose is to make sure things don't look like penises.

To quote the movie "PCU": Hey Hey! Ho Ho! This penis party's got to go!
