From venues to entertainment to photography, costs add up quickly when you're planning a wedding. A recent study by NerdWallet looked at the average price tags for wedding services by county and ranked the affordability of weddings as a percentage of household income for a given area.

Putnam County ranked as New York state's most affordable. While the average Putnam County wedding cost isn't anything to gloss over--$52,509--household incomes in the region hover near the six-figure mark, averaging $95,259.
