Pizza Hutt Will Deliver Beer and Wine to Your Home

This could be one giant leap for mankind...or maybe another setback.

Fortune is reporting that the pizza chain will start testing beer and wine delivery this coming January at one of their locations near downtown Phoenix. Often, when food chains start testing products in a few locations like this, it will quickly spread to other markets.

After all, it's alcohol we're talking about, and we know Americans love to drink. Fortune says that 1,700 of Pizza Hut's locations across the U.S already have liquor licenses, so expect to see this new service grow in the coming months.

It's all part of the chain pizza arms race between Pizza Hutt and Dominoes. Pizza Hutt has invested a lot in recent years into new ideas like online mapping, equipment upgrades, and a big time delivery hiring blitz.
