A person was struck and killed by a train on the Hudson Line at the Croton-Harmon station. Lohud reports that the incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. The accident has lead to delays lasting 10 to 20 minutes on the Hudson Line.

MTA police have been dispatched to investigate. Croton Deputy Fire Chief Richard Nagle said the victim was male, but he did not know the person's approximate age. The Westchester County Medical Examiner is also on the scene to further investigate.

Police and firefighters were preventing any pedestrians from walking into part of the station, which has been blocked off.  A train was stopped on the northbound tracks. Other trains were still passing through the station and stopping to discharge passengers.
