Two people were arrested for allegedly stealing items from a Dutchess County middle school. 

On January 3, 2018 Sheriff's Deputies responded to Wappingers Junior high School during the evening hours for a report of suspicious people and possible burglary.

Upon arrival, the suspects had left. It was learned that the suspects had entered the building during a school event and stole items from within the building and classrooms.

The stolen items were a Hovercam, which is a document camera used by teachers and a contractor's nail gun, both of which have been recovered.

Further investigation led to the identification of David M. Borrelli, 36 of Pleasant Valley, N.Y. and Felicia S. Burnham, 30 of Bayshore, N.Y. as the suspects.

Both Borrelli and Burnham were arrested on January 5, 2018 and charged with Burglary third-degree, Felony.

Both were arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail. Borrelli on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond, and Burnham on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
