PA Man Injured By Falling Ham

Talk about being hurt while on the job...though this is probably one of the more unusual at work injuries.  A 30-year old Pennsylvania man had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after 720 pounds of ham fell on top of his head. The Hatfield Quality Meats employee was said to have suffered the unusual injury Wednesday when 720 pounds of ham fell on his head.

The man was at the the meat packing plant when a pallet carrying 36 hams somehow tipped, and came falling to the ground. He was flown to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. His condition has not been released.

Officials from Hatfield Quality Meats have not commented on the incident.
