A Newburgh man has been arrested on grand larceny charges in connection with stealing over $200,000 dollars from Long Island.

According to Nassau County Police, an employee at Nuzzolese Bros. Ice Corp., located in Hicksville discovered several checks that were sent to Arctic Glacier, a vendor, were not received. Police later learned that the checks, valued at over $200,000, were deposited at a Newburgh Citizen’s Bank by 69-year-old James M. Miller, of 115 Chambers Street.

With the help of Newburgh Police, Miller was placed under arrest without incident at his home. The Newburgh man was charged with 2nd grand larceny, 1st degree falsifying business records, and 1st degree identity theft.
