Orange County Drug Sweep Leads To 32 Arrests

The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with 18 local police departments announced that 32 suspects have been charged with drug trafficking in one of Orange County's larger drug sweeps. Officials say that about $50K in illegal drugs were seized in what was known as Operation Open Air. District Attorney David Hoovler says "It is the number one quality of life issue that we have in Orange County"Hoovler says that the agencies went after dealers who were dealing in the open. using undercover police officers, car stops and search warrants.
