Old Fashioned Cider Tasting This Saturday

The Cider Mill Friends of Open Space and Historic Preservation are putting on the 4th Annual Old Fashioned Cider tasting this Saturday, Oct. 15 at the mill on 140 Cedar Avenue in Poughkeepsie from 11 am - 3 pm.

This Saturday's cider tasting event will feature several local ciders, both sweet and hard, a barbecue, live music, guided tours of the mill, and a whole lot more. Tickets are only $10 for the tasting and a souvenir glass and only $5 for a barbecue meal. This year they are celebrating 15 years of Cider Mill Friends, so it is going to be an extra special celebration.  Some of the cideries at the event include Fishkill Farms, Angry orchard, Pennings Farm, Pitchfork, Yankee Folly, and many more.

After the cider tasting and barbecue, there will be a party at Juan Murphy's in Poughkeepsie from 3-5 PM where a portion of the proceeds will go directly to CMF.  For tickets and more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1861900454037457/.
