NYU Doctor Warns Against Putting Toilet Paper on Seat

We've all questioned that cleanliness of a public bathroom. Is it worse to throw some extra toilet paper on the seat?

Nobody wants to share a seat with dozens or even hundreds of other people but sometimes we just have to. Have you ever be to Penn Station?

You can always give a once over if it's a little dirty but according to an article in Self, there's not a lot of illnesses you can get from the seat of a throne. A plastic toilet seat actually helps fend off bacteria and the seat is cleaned semi regularly. Also, since poop particles shoot out of the water the paper most likely has poop on it anyway.

Sorry to be a buzzkill but if you put paper on the seat, you're wasting your time.
