The incident actually happened in the summer of 2017 but is just being made public now.

Rude airline passengers can be a real headache. When you're crammed into a plane at over 30,000 feet, the last thing you want to deal with is someone's drama.

Well, NBC NY is reporting that over one hundred J.F.K. bound passengers were forced to get off their flight in Washington D.C. after a drunken woman had a midair meltdown.

In an affidavit that was unsealed this week, the woman had out down four glasses of wine during the flight.

At some point a flight attendant cut her off. That's when all hell broke loose.

According to the affidavit, the woman screamed and cursed at attendants and passengers while throwing food and water in every direction. The woman also allegedly touched a male passenger, making him uncomfortable. She went on ranting and raving about her life, her family, and how "no one loved her".

One doctor near the commotion described her behavior like that of a "caged animal".

NBC says the woman was eventually subdued and bound with plastic handcuffs. That didn't last long. The crazed woman apparently broke out of the cuffs, continued screaming and cursing, and finally kicked an attendant in the leg for good measure.

At some point she finally passed out before the plane landed in D.C. Now she's facing a bunch of charges, and could spend some time behind bars once she goes to court Friday
