NY Wedding Turns Into Royal Rumble, 7 Police Departments Break It Up

The most important and special day of a bride and groom's life turned into a scene from Wrestlemania recently at the Orchard Park Country Club. According to Buffalo News, the first altercation (yes, the first) happened in the parking lot after a male guest was accused of groping a female guest and was thus punched in the face. 45 minutes later an even larger fight broke out in the parking lot of the wedding reception. One Buffalo area TV station estimates that over one hundred people were involved in the melee.  OP police were forced to call for reinforcements from four surrounding towns as well as the Erie County Sheriff's Office and the NY State Police to break up the brawl.
