According to numbers released from the U.S. Census Bureau, the state of New York has fallen from number 3 to number 4 in overall popluation. Florida now surpasses New York as the number 3 most populated state in the country.  According to the Bureau, Florida grew by 300,000 residents from 2013 to 2014, for an overall population of 19.9 million residents. NY grew by 51,000 over that period, for an overall total of 19.7 million residents. Read more
