A dispute at a family court hearing lead to a New York state man ramming his car into 14 vehicles outside of the courthouse, police say.

Police say 45-year-old David Southwick, of Cortlandville, followed his ex-wife into the parking lot at the Cortland County Courthouse after a hearing Monday. Southwick got into his flatbed truck and then drove at his ex-wife as she walked away.

Luckily, Southwick missed hitting the woman. He still managed to take his anger out, as officials say Southwick then purposely slammed his truck into 14 vehicles before finally hitting a nearby porch.  The Times Herald Record says a person in one of the vehicles suffered a minor injury.

Police say total damage exceeds $7,500.

Police arrested Southwick in the lot. He is being held in the county jail.
