A cookie straw lead to this? Ruby Chen was at a Starbucks in Queens last week when she faced an epic meltdown from one of the employees. The tirade was all caught on camera and has since gone viral. Eater.com reports that is started when the employee, a shift supervisor, grew angry when Chen failed to give her name with her order. Chen wrote on her YouTube channel however, that she had ordered a Frappuccino and a special straw/cookie straw, and then tried to pay with her Starbucks app when something set off the worker, identified only as "Melissa."

So what exactly happened? Chen can be seen looking confused as Melissa verbally attacks her. Melissa accuses Chen of stealing the cookie straw, threatens to call police, and even yells at customers. The other customers try to defend Chen.

A Starbucks spokesperson told the New York Post that Melissa was no longer with Starbucks.

This customer's experience is not reflective of the service our partners provide to customers every day. Our leadership team is reaching out to the customer to apologize and make this right.

Melissa told WPIX-11 in New York that the customer was abusive and insisted that she wasn't fired, but quit because she had no support from the district manager.
