Yet another school in New York state was put on lockdown. Thankfully, Wednesday's incident proved to be another another false alarm. CBS 6 Albany reports that Berlin High School in Rensselaer County was put on lockdown, Wednesday after a student brought a pellet gun to class. The school would stay on lockdown for two and half hours.

State Police responded to the incident after a teacher thought the unidentified student had brought a real gun into the classroom. Upon investigation, police determined that the gun was indeed a pellet rifle. Police say the teacher was able convince the 8th grade student to hand over the rifle. No charges have been filed.

This, however, would not be the first false alarm at the school on Wednesday. CBS reports that police  discovered two bottles of an unknown liquid, which prompted them to perform a K-9 sweep of the school. They say the bottled turned out to contain vegetable oil.
