Before the New York Rangers begin their 2015-16 regular season campaign on Oct. 7 at Chicago, the team will hold an open practice at West Point on Monday Oct. 5 beginning at 11AM.  According to the Army Sports Website the practice is open to the public at Tate Rink.  Afterwards the team will dine at The Cadet Mess Hall with students.

This is the first visit for the Rangers since 2007 and their third overall since coming in 2005.

Other teams that have visited West Point are the Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers, Buffalo Sabres, and the New Jersey Devils.
