Because of weekend storms and travel concerns, the New York Rangers have cancelled their open practice on Monday at West Point's Tate Rink.  The Rangers said they have a team  outdoor activity on Sunday and other events scheduled around their open practice on Monday and Tuesday that were in danger of being cancelled.

The team will finish up their training camp at the team's facility in Westchester before flying out on Tuesday afternoon.  The Rangers open their season on the road against Chicago on Wednesday night.  The press release of the Rangers cancelled appearance is on the Army Sports website.

The Rangers first home game at Madison Square Garden  on Saturday October 10th, when they face the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7pm.   Tickets for Ranger games are available through ticketmaster which you can find on the team's website.
