NY Man Hit By Train After Passing Out Drunk on Tracks, Miraculously Survives

An intoxicated man from Stillwater, NY is very lucky to be alive. According to NY State Police, 36 year-old Aaron Collins passed out drunk on a set of train tracks in Schagticoke when he was rolled over by an oncoming freight train. The conductor of the Pan Am freight train spotted Collins on the tracks and was able to stop the 7,000-foot-long train, but not before the first engine rolled over the man, troopers said.

Troopers said Collins was drunk but miraculously uninjured. He was taken to Albany Medical Center for evaluation. The incident happened Wednesday night.
