We've said it before, New Yorkers love their bagels. This guy, in particular, might love them a little too much, as this viral video shows. Now police are looking for answers after releasing the footage to the public.

ABC is reporting that the violent encounter happened early morning, November 25 at a deli in Brooklyn. Police say a Hispanic man in his late teens/early 20s physically attacked a deli worker at the Hi Mango Market Deli in East Williamsburg, and even threw food and other items at the employee.

UPDATE: The NY Daily News is reporting that police arrested a 24 year-old man at his Brooklyn home January 3..

According to the reports, the employee had told the man there were other customers ahead of him and he'd have a to wait a few minutes. That didn't sit well with our bagel craved antagonist. He really wanted his bacon, egg & cheese, on a cinnamon raisin bagel this instant.

Make my cinnamon raisin toasted bagel with bacon, egg and cheese RIGHT NOW! Right f---king now! Make my s--t right now!

The employee, Sanjay Patel, told NBC:

He just kept throwing stuff at my head," Patel said, noting items included "a bag of bread, a computer tablet, a metal stand lying on the counter and a hand basket.

NBC says that Patel (the NY Daily News says it is spelled Batel) was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. Patel says the young bagel punk appeared intoxicated. Ya think?

Police are asking if anyone recognizes this man to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers at nypdcrimestoppers.com.

The Daily News also reports that after all that hootin n' hollerin, the young man didn't even get his bagel. There's no word if he'll see further charges for ordering a bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel....but hey, some people say they like the combo?
