NY Man Gets 2 DWI Charges in Under 5 Hours

Not the best night for David Kornfield of Altamont, NY. According to Guilderland police, Kornfield was stopped for speeding on Route 20 Saturday night, at around 11:30. Authorities believed he was intoxicated, and was later found to have a blood alcohol level of .13%. According to the Albany Times Union, he was charged with DWI, issued tickets and released.
Apparenlty, not learning his lesson...Kornfield was out of jail in a few hours, but was pulled over again for speeding, this time in a different vehicle at around 4:00 am Sunday morning. He was arrested again, and stands accused of driving while intoxicated, speeding, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. This time, police say, he refused a chemical test.
