Duct tape can fix almost anything. That's apparently 56 year-old Carl Critelli's belief.
Police say the Glens Falls man was drinking with friends this week when one of his acquaintances started passing around their .32-caliber handgun. The gun accidentally went off, sending a bullet through two of Critelli's fingers, causing serious damage.
You'd think he'd immediately go to the hospital? Well, seems Mr Cartelli isn't too fond of doctors. Critelli told The Post-Star of Glens Falls that he didn't seek medical help because he doesn't like doctors. Instead, he bandaged his wounds and then wrapped it with duct tape
Authorities are still investigating the incident. CBS Albany reports that the 45-year-old man who owned the gun was charged Wednesday after telling police what happened. Police also finally convinced Critelli to go to a hospital for treatment.
